Incoloy 926 Alloy is kind of austenitic stainless steel alloy and similar with 904 L alloy. Incoloy 926 alloy has 0.2% nitrogen and 6.5% molybdenum content which makes it be good at crevice corrosion resistance.
Meanwhile, nickel and nitrogen content can not only help Incoloy 925 to improve the stability, and also can reduce the tendency to separate the crystallization thermal process or welding process is superior to the nitrogen content of nickel alloy.
Indoloy 926 alloy has certain corrosion resistance in chloride ions because of local corrosion properties and 25% nickel content. Incoloy 926 alloy has no crevice corrosion and pitting corrosion during the trial period of 1-2 years under ph5-6.5 and 68℃’ environment. And in other chemical medias Incoloy 926 also have good corrosion resistance(high temperature& high concentrations of medias including sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, acid gas, sea water, salt and organic acids).
