C67410 Manganese Bronze Alloy

Much like other manganese bronze alloys, C67410 resists corrosion well. When used in bearings, C67410 can handle high speeds and heavy loads. By including manganese, iron, and aluminum, this alloy resists seizing.

C67410 has high strength for use in heavy-load applications. Some typical uses include:

  • Manganese Bronze Bushings
  • Manganese Bronze Cams
  • Manganese Bronze Connecting Rods
  • Manganese Bronze Cylinder Liners
  • Manganese Bronze Gears
  • Manganese Bronze Hydraulic Piston Shoes
  • Manganese Bronze Shafts
  • Manganese Bronze Valve Guides & Chain Guides
  • Manganese Bronze Wear Plates

C67410 Introduction

Copper alloys are extremely popular as they have strong corrosion resistance to many types of substances and environments. They are resistant to fresh water, steam, marine and industrial atmospheres, non-oxidizing minerals, caustic solutions, organic acids, moist ammonia, halogens, soils, and sulfides.

Copper alloys, however, have poor resistance to inorganic acids. The following datasheet discusses the chemical composition and properties of copper UNS C67410.
